TRCC Statewide Education Outreach-Electronic
Media July-August 2006 S&C conducting a statewide education campaign
to create public awareness regarding the commission’s
ability to help new homeowners in dealing with builders if
post construction problems occur and the builders will not
repair them to the homeowner’s satisfaction.
S&C created 3 TV ads, (one in Spanish
and two in English) and three radio ads (one in Spanish and
two in English). The purpose of the campaign is to get consumers
to call the Commissions’ toll free telephone to obtain
more information or visit their Web site.
S&C negotiated a Texas wide media campaign
for The Texas Residential Construction Commission in San
Antonio, Austin, , McAllen and El Paso, and a TV campaign
in Dallas, Ft. Worth and Houston. S&C delivered approximately
20% in additional free ads and promotional mentions with
this campaign.
